After the quartz slab is cut longitudinally and transversely into uniform size and roughly polished on one side,turning over the slab by turn over machine ,then the quartz slab enters the chamfering machine, the detection device detects the slab and urges the baffle device to lift up. When the slab reaches the baffle device, it is blocked and stopped. At this time, the jacking device rises up and jack the slab up, then trigger the centering action.
Because the four sides of slab have been cut neatly, one side is positioned with depended wheel and the other side is pushed by air cylinder, so as to make the perpendicularity of transverse cutting edge and straight edge more precise.
After the slab is centered, the chamfering head starts to move laterally, the grinding tools rotating at high speed on the chamfering head chamfers the length of the slab.After the length chamfering is completed ,the slab continues to move forward ,and the fixed grinding tools chamfer the both sides of slab width.
